Karisty Welsh is the senior director of North America Sales for Visa’s Authorize.net platform. Currently her focus is on developing strategic sales initiatives and go to market execution processes across sales channels for Authorize.net. Karisty has over 20 years of experience in the payment industry. With roles focusing on direct merchant sales, partner channel business development across ISV’s, ISO’s, Acquirers and Processors and sales strategy, she has focused experience around digital payment acceptance, partner program strategy, and solution selling.

She is passionate about bringing differentiated solutions for digital payment acceptance to businesses large and small. With a strong emphasis on ensuring those solutions are simple and secure so businesses can focus on what they love most, their business. Karisty delights in seeing the evolution of the payments and technology ecosystem. Empowering teams to uplift clients by enabling acceptance solutions that optimize the payment experience up and down the value chain continues to be a highlight of directing the sales channels across North America as they engage with clients.

Karisty resides in Utah with her husband and 2 young daughters. When there is free time, you can find her at their music recitals or softball games. She also enjoys cooking, hiking, and boating anytime she gets the chance.

Education: Bachelor of Science from Utah Valley University in Behavioral Science with an emphasis in Psychology.
